Bessie Zolno is currently based in the San Francisco Bay Area, providing mental health support and mental-health informed violence and intimacy choreography for theater and film productions. She holds a certification in Mental Health Coordination (Association of Mental Health Coordinators), and is a member of both Society of Directors and Choreographers and the National Society of Intimacy Professionals. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Stage Combat (Colombia College Chicago).

As of June 2025, Bessie has logged over 2500 hours in production work in these capacities, in addition to teaching and leading workshops. She is now an associate faculty member with AMHC and creates collaborative and consent-driven spaces wherever she goes.
