Bessie Zolno divides her time between Tel Aviv and the San Francisco Bay Area, providing mental-health informed violence and intimacy choreography for theater and film productions. She holds certificates in Artistic Mental Health (Practitioner, Association of Mental Health Coordinators), and Intimacy Direction (Heartland Intimacy Design), as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Stage Combat (Colombia College Chicago).
As of May 2024, Bessie has logged over 1000 hours in production work in these capacities, in addition to teaching and leading workshops. She is now an associate faculty member with AMHC and a member of the National Society of Intimacy Professionals and creates collaborative and consent-driven spaces wherever she goes. |
